Trusted Handyman Contractor Fort Walton Beach
Built on Trust. Finished Right.
The Story Behind T & M Handyman Services
My name is Tristan Wilson, and I started T & M Handyman Services L.L.C. because I saw a real need here in Fort Walton Beach for a contractor who actually shows up, does the work right, and stands behind it. I've worked in the trades my whole career. I know how to frame a wall, set a fence post, seal a driveway, and install flooring that holds up to Florida's heat and humidity. When I decided to go out on my own, I wanted to build something local, personal, and worth trusting. That's what T & M Handyman Services is built on.
For us, doing the work right means measuring twice, using the correct materials, and not cutting corners because a job is small or a schedule is tight. We believe every homeowner deserves the same standard of care, whether the project costs $200 or $2,000. That's not a slogan. It's how we've built our reputation across 10 years of residential work in this area. When I put my name on a job, I mean it.
Fort Walton Beach is home. The people we work for are our neighbors, our community members, and often veterans and military families who have served this country and deserve a contractor they can count on. There's something meaningful about doing honest work for the people who live on the same streets we do. We don't treat this area like a territory to cover. We treat it like home because it is.
What Sets T & M Apart from Larger Contractors
Family-Owned Accountability on Every Job
When you hire T & M, you're working with Tristan Wilson directly. He answers the calls, gives the quotes, and does the work. His name is literally on the business, which means there's no middle management to hide behind and no subcontracting surprises. If something isn't right, he fixes it. That's what family ownership means in practice.
Tristan Is on the Job, Not Just the Quote
The person who walks through your home at the estimate is the same person who shows up to do the work. You won't meet Tristan at the quote and then find a crew you've never spoken to at your door on project day. What you see is what you get, from start to finish.
10 Years of Local Experience in Okaloosa County
A decade in one area adds up. We know how Florida's climate affects building materials, what local codes require, and how residential construction behaves differently here than elsewhere. That local knowledge shows up in every job we complete for homeowners in Okaloosa and Walton Counties.

Proudly Serving Fort Walton Beach and the Surrounding Gulf Coast Communities
We're committed to the region we call home. From Fort Walton Beach and Destin to Niceville, Navarre, Shalimar, Mary Esther, Miramar Beach, Cinco Bayou, Lake Lorraine, Eglin Village, Valparaiso, and the communities spread across Okaloosa and Walton Counties, T & M Handyman Services is your local contractor, not a franchise or call center operation with a local phone number. When you call us, you're calling a neighbor.
Many of the homeowners we work with are active-duty military families, veterans, and longtime Florida residents who've served this country and put down roots on the Gulf Coast. They deserve a contractor who respects their time, their home, and their trust. We're proud to be part of a community where that kind of service still means something, and we take the responsibility of that seriously on every job we accept.
